I have just started getting msg that my mp3 files are write protected, and
can neither delete or load onto my player, in fact any files I want to copy
are affected. Can anyone help please ! I have been using this player without
any trouble for months.

Open Windows Explorer, and locate your MP3 files. Right click each one and
select Properties. You can uncheck the read-only property there.

Alternatively, open a Command Prompt window and enter the following command:

ATTRIB X:\Foldername\*.mp3 -R

Where X is the drive letter, and Folder is the actual folder name where your
MP3 files are stored.

If your MP3 files are stored in sub-folders, use:

ATTRIB X:\Folder\*.mp3 -R /S

The /S switch tells the ATTRIB command to process sub folders, as well.
