When I attach my JasJar Pocket PC (Windows Mobile 5) to my Vista (Business)
computer i notice in the Task Manager that a wmplayer.exe image is created.
when this happens, I usually cannot sync my pocket PC with the server (Mail,
notes, etc). i also cannot play any media files.
When I kill the wmplayer.exe process the synchronization proceeds without a
problem and i am able to play media files.
What causes the media play to start (in the background?) when i try to sync?
why is it preventing the sync? how can i turn this "feature" off?

thanks
m

Hi,
Did you choose the option to sync media with your device? If you did then
this is the reason that Windows Media Player is being launched on your PC.
