hey, i need a little advice.

I have a pocket pc (dell axim x5) that i haven't had connected for the
longest time. i keep it charged and use it, but don't sync it or use
the software.

i used to use AS 3.8. i see AS 4.5 is available for use with ppc 2003
devices, but i'm wondering if it would be smart to use it. around the
time i stopped using AS, 4.x was new and wasn't good for 2003 devices.
is it better now? does it work? should i just stick to AS 3.8?

No. Just continue to use what you have. There is zero advantage in terms
of features to AS4.5. It's a bit more-secure, but that's it.

Hi,
If you want similar security, just disable the File - Connection Settings
option for the Network connection.

all sorts of problems. i'm not even entiresly sure i want to use it
again, there's just a few things i want to transfer.

If you just want to copy files or install programs, you don't have to
establish a partnership, even, let alone try to sync with Outlook.
