Please log in for more thread options I use auto-playlists rather than manual playlists. They provide the greatest
amount of flexibility when synchronizing music with devices. So, for
example, I have a playlist that contains all songs with a rating of 4 stars
or higher. Because of the size of my music collection, this playlist
contains several gigabytes of music. When I play this playlist on my PC, I
want it to to be able to access *any* of those songs. I shouldn't have to
add a size limitation to the playlist. Thus, my workaround has been to
create a duplicate auto-playlist that includes only the first 1GB of songs
with a 4-star or higher rating, and I sync this playlist with my device
instead.
