There was a problem with one of the Armada range (cant remember which
but I know it had a 7 in the model no.). There was a problem with the
video connection to the screen which, in that case, was routed through
the audio board. A mod kit was available when I was a Compaq tech, but
dismantling and reconnecting will probably (hopefully) fix your problem
