I've a lucent wavelan mini-pci card I'd like to use in a machine that
doesn't currently have an antenna in it. I'd like to add one. Where can I
find a reasonably priced replacement part or kit to add this?
I've seen hacks for putting an IBM laptop kit and would be willing to give
it a shot. I'd rather have the option to use an external antenna of some
sort unless an internal kit would work just as well. The card, when
installed, does pick up a wifi signal but only when damn near right on top
of the access point. This is true whether or not the case is installed so I
figure an internal one would probably work.
Suggestions? Where does one find this sort of thing?
