where does my file go? Got Any Gum? 12-14-2006

 Ok.........I am a newbie to this

I downloaded my Palm software into my macbook
i drug some Audio files (mp3 format) and some pictures(.jpg) into "send
to handheld"
I connected the cradle from the USB Port on the Macbook to the Palm TX
I pushed the hotSync button on the cradle
my hotsync was Sucessful

now i search the Palm TX for the MP3 files and the .jpgs
and i cannot find them.
i have a 1GB card inserted into the palm Tx and i even checked that.
no luck.
Dataviz shows files in it but when i click on it,i dont see the files

what am i doing wrong?
Obviously the files transported to the Palm because the Hotsync was
sucessful and when i dropped and drug the files into send to handheld
icon on macbook that worked too.

i just cannot find them on thepalm

Media files will not show up in the launcher. You need to use Filez or
3xcom to locate them in the filesystem.

are they universal no matter what type of Palm you have

If you sent the files to your card, then they will not be changed. If
they were sent to internal storage, they may be changed depending on
which application is installed to handle them.
