Kindest regards to those who read this - i have spent days trying to
find an answer but to no avail!
I am building a 'design and buy' tool for a sign manufacturer - and
obviously need a shopping cart to collect the cash at the end of the
I have been given a list of requirements for pricing up the designs,
and i have to charge by the meter for the canvass, and then by area
for extras like images, so essentially, i want a cart that allows me
to add multiple products at the same time. Has anybody ever found a
cart that allows this?
The ideal solution would be a cart that allows a generic item to be
passed to it (via a query string detailing the description price and
order number ie
=A3354.67), but i have not found one that allows that.
I could of course break the products down like this:
Full colour image 1 cm2
Full colour image 2 cm2
Full colour image 5 cm2
Full colour image 10 cm2
Full colour image 20 cm2
Full colour image 50 cm2
Full colour image 100 cm2
Full colour image 200 cm2
Full colour image 500 cm2
Full colour image 1000 cm2
so if someone wants 988cm2 image, then the cart will need to display
1 x Full colour image 500 cm2
2 x Full colour image 200 cm2
1 x Full colour image 50 cm2
1 X Full colour image 20 cm2
1 X Full colour image 10 cm2
1 X Full colour image 5 cm2
1 X Full colour image 2 cm2
1 X Full colour image 1 cm2
which would be quite confusing?! AND i still need to be able to pass
Perhaps there is an existing cart that does this/could be modified to.
A hosted solution would be preferable, but i will go a different route
if there is no other option.
Like i said, thanks for reading, and even better (!) thanks for
