I have a guide on the net with more that 500 links on it. Like every webmaster I
like to keep my website up-to-date. To check out
more than 500 links is manualy to see if the websites/domainnames are still
active or working is quit a job. I was wondering if
anyone know where I can find a script so I can check all links with just one
I would prefer a PHP script.

Pity. I have a Perl script that does it.....
This functionality is included in Perl, so it's very easy to return a
status code for a URI and just parse a list of URIs and return codes
for each, like if the URI returns OK write it to a new file, and if
not ignore it. Then you end up with a new list of VALID or at least
URIs which returned OK status codes.
But as you say, you want a PHP script so I can't help you there.....
