- Quicktime or Flash Video editing on PC

We have some videos on our site that I'm hosting. They are either
Quicktime files (.mov) or Flash Video (.flv) and I would like to edit
either of those with a simple title frame (nice if it would dissove
into the movie that follows but not required). I am using a Windows
computer (Windows XP Pro) and I'm afraid I'm a bit lost trying to find
a software program that will let me create/edit/insert frame(s) into
either a Quicktime or Flash Video film. I can easily convert the .mov
into .flv if that's what I have to do (as opposed to editing the .flv
directly) but in either case, I wish to solicit your suggestions on a
Windows program (not costly if possible) that will let me
create/edit/insert frame(s) into a .mov or .flv file. Basically all I
need to do is create a title frame such as: "The following clip is
from Sally Mander" or the like but I would like that to be a frame
within the actual movie.
Thanks for any suggestions. Good weekend to ya. :)
Re: Quicktime or Flash Video editing on PC
Well FLV should be embedded inside a Flash movie, so you dont have to
edit the physical MPEG/quicktime file at all... just place a scene
before the FLV is triggered inside Flash.
Otherwise, really, you need proper video editing software.
