Got a problem with the following page http://www.paulwatt.info/hub /
it should be, i've used filter(alpha:50) in my style sheet but it doesnt
seem to work.
In FF The menu is transparant as it should be, but the imagae fader doesnt
in ie 6 the menu is bizarly spread out and isnt transparant.
Unfortunatly the image fader used in that script only works with IE. I know
it is possible to make the image fade for FireFox, but the script is using
Microsoft "transition" effects. Sorry. (Rather than continue to work with
equivalent script for Flash - allowing the script to be defined externally
but I've yet to write it up and publish it.)
I see what you mean. CSS is lovely, I just wish IE and FF were consistent.
I've looked but I can't see why its doing it ... something which seems to
help (for IE) is to remove the background colour from the css for the LI
elements, that way the background can show through. Don't see why the first
element is indented. Knowing IE its something to do with the float.
Hope you sort it. Looks like a nice design.
