Hi. I have a bunch of python cgi scripts, in a cgi-bin on a freebsd
system. Apache server.
I had a problem before, that people could get a directory listing of my
cgi-bin, and thus download my cgi scripts ... and thus get access to
passwords that they shouldn't.
I emailed the server admin about it, and he suggested I put and index.html
file in there. I did that, and it stopped people getting a directory
listing, but .... people can still dl the scripts themselves, for e.g,
using wget from a unix console.
Does anybody know how I can prevent ppl from doing that?
