I've searched this web from one end to the other and there's not one
single group, forum, bulletin board, pen pal club, anyplace where us
shadetree codesters can unite and show off!  If such a place exists, I
would appreciate it kindly if someone could share the link with us.
Until then, just say Web by Jethro has now landed here at your happy
place. Promise only for a short stay.

I would love to read some good constructive bantering about my website
Please know if your compelled to post code specific critiques and
technical analysis I 'm just going to have to enjoy wearing the
broadest of smiles as if it is raining praises of the highest (written
in Portuguese).  Part of being a shadetree codester. Thanks...

I couldn't read any of it so I zoomed in to 150%, and it looked like this:

... and I thought, "Man that's still hard to read." Then I realized that
it's not text, it's a gif! Then I realized that everything on every page
is a gif! There's no text here, none! Awesome! Is that what shadetree
coding means? o^0

Now I've seen everything!  Well, maybe not everything.  But this one of
the worst.

don't be harsh, the poor little chap is only a few years old.
I liked the bit where, after you've looked at the photo's, you press the
"home" link :)

Welcome, come on it - stay as long as you like.

Most amusing - would you accept the same DICDIF[1] attitude from the pit
crew? or your engine suppliers?

Best not to slice up images - makes the client (and the server) work
harder, slowing load times.

mailto links don't need spaces - no idea how mail clients will handle
that.  maybe ok, but there's no need to take the chance.  Also, best to
provide alternative contact means (often a form is used) as there are
quite a lot of UA/mailer combinations which don't play nice with mailto.

text in image is a pointless waste of effort - text wants to be text - let
it work for you.

Although you have some good photo stock and graphics it's not immediately
clear to me what type of racing you are participating in or if there's
some purpose to the site other than "Hello" - it's good to make your
message absolutely clear ...

o Tell 'em what you're gonna tell 'em
o Tell 'em
o Tell 'em what you told them.

Framesets are no longer (were they ever?) considered a uselful technique.
To see what I mean, take a look at the individual frames in isolation.

Trying to open new windows is irritating - stop it.
