My Adsense experience

Hi folks,

I have found that there is a strange problem to do with Google Adsense.

During the first half of the month, and or the second half of the month
I have discovered that the amount of revenue that I get from Google
Adsense per day can jump between one of basically 3 values, namely
$0.50 per day, one dollar per day or two dollars per day.

That rate will remain constant give or take about 50% throughout a
2-week period.

I have observed two basic scenarios:

1. I get approximately one dollar per day every day of the month, and
at the end I make just over $30.

2.  I get approximately two dollars per day for first half of the
month, then about $.50 per day average for each day in the second half
of the month and in the end I made about $45.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

There could be any number of factors at play here.  Why not ask Google
about it?

I've seen something similar. It makes sense when you consider that the
value you earn is based on the bid price paid by the advertisers, and
many advertisers set a monthly budget that can (and often does) run
out half-way through the month. So it is possible, in such a scenario,
to earn more from the first half of the month than the second. Whether
or not you get this effect seems to depend more on the type of site,
and thus on the adverts it attracts.

OK.  Rightly or wrongly, I've made a mental association with Mark's stuff,
and bad experiences.
