Do you know if there's a tool for tracking the monthly searches of
specific keywords? I use overture, but how accurate is that in fact?
And does it mostly track yahoo's searches? Is there another tool
directed more at Google's searches?

Hope you can help me:-)

Overture gets its data from a few minor SEs AFAIK, so it's accurate for
that dataset, but if your traffic comes mainly from Google et al, it's
hard to say if it's accurate or not. In many cases probably not. I
sometimes see stuff in overture like:

67 flonk flonk htp:77a ss bla bla

(weird example, but if you use overture you know what I mean).

Check your access_log, I made a nice tool:

this gives you a clear idea how people find your page(s), and it might
give you plenty of suggestions of what to add to your page, how to improve
it, etc.

Might I also add, if you submit a site map to Google, they provide
reports on the most common search terms searched for relevant to your
site and the most common search terms people clicked on to go to your
site from Google.

Woe to him that willfully innovates, while ignorant of the constant.
