Page-zone canceled my account without warning when my old CC expired, so
now I'm looking for a new hoster for my hobby site on dust bunnies. My
main criteria are price and ease of use. I am the type who does
everything I can to avoid asking for directions or useing the help desk
so I don't need a hoster whose great at that. My specific needs are:

200mb disk space
1GB monthly transfer
want to use my own perl scripts
CPanel or something like that.

I looked at the site and came out at
the top after I entered my requirements. Is mochahost any good? Is a reliable source of info?

Without warning?

Are you accidentally filtering out their email into a spam folder (or
autodeleting it)?  I ask because when that happened to me when my card
expired last spring, I got an email from Page-Zone noting the problem.
I called them and gave them the information for the new card for that
account, and there were no problems.

I can not comment specifically on mochahost, BUT, experience has
taught me that low cost is generally synonymous with unreliable.

The balance is for you to equate, as a hobby site you have much less
concern over reliability, however, you've been bitten once, do you
want to risk that again?

I should recommend, I have used them for years
through shared hosting, a VPS and now a dedicated server, problems
have been sufficiently few to say they are okay.

Woe to him that willfully innovates, while ignorant of the constant.
