IE6 png transparency

   My understanding is that alpha PNG transparency has been fixed in IE7.

   I see that there is a slew of hacks for IE. What's the state of the
hack for doing this? I don't care about IE5.5 and below. JS OK.

   I'm not thrilled about hacking anything, but absolutely need to use
an alpha transparency PNG.

The hack I use for IE6 PNG bug is this one: /

It worked allright for me.
But rendering in IE6 can be a bit slow.

   This looks like the most transparent to use, once it is set up.
