I used to have the following snippet on the pages of our site
Last updated on <b><!--#config timefmt="%e %B, %Y"-->
since the host upgraded to PHP version 5.2.6 on Apache 2.2.9(Unix) the
above snippet has stopped working.
Is there another way I can display when a file is either uploaded to the
server or the file is updated?

// page_revision_date --
function page_revision_date ($leader = '', $fpath = "./")
$fname = $fpath . basename($_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME']);
$last_modified = filemtime($fname);
$str = '<p>' . $leader . date("F j, Y", $last_modified) . '</p>' . "\n";
