Can anyone give me some advice about moving a website from one host to
The website is hosted with a company called domainsuperfactory.com, it
has been down for nearly a week now, and I seemingly have no way of
contacting the company as all their emails get bounced back and phone
lines are dead. Is there any way I can change the name servers of this
site without the hosting company's assistance as I can't get any from
If anyone could suggest any solutions I would be most grateful as
would my client who's lack of website is losing him business every day
Re: Help my hosting company seems to have died and I don't know what to do
first of all do you own your domain?
that is where you the one who registered your domain or did you have
someone else to it? do you have your username and password?
if you register through the Domainsuperfactory and cannot log in,
all is still not lost, network solution controls all the domains and
you can contact them, although it is an incredible feat and a period
which could go on for a couple weeks, you can still get control of
your domain. your other choice will be to register a new domain which
you can do here http://helhint.ld.net
like the other person said if you have a backup of your web site and
you own your domain you just need to obtain new Web Hosting and
redirect your DNS numbers to the new hosting.
if you need some new hosting I can help you out and I will help you
move your site and get things set up and working.
