google does not pur referrer in httpd logs

Dorry if this is common knowledge - but I jys noticed that in my httpd logs,
hits from google (like when I search for stuff on my own site) no longer
include referrer info = ie they come in anonymously. Is this change due to
google or my ISP

Google does not control what Referer header gets sent to visited sites  
listed on its pages.  Clients do.

It is possible that a router on the way to your server, or your server  
itself, is stripping the Referer header before it is logged.  But there's  
no real reason to do this, that I am aware of.
