One of my clients has a web-site with a contact form. Over the last
couple of days he has been receiving a number (about 8 or 10 per hour)
of contacts from people giving addresses in Eastern Europe, mainly
Russia, but also Belarus, Uzbekistan, Latvia, etc.
He sells Villas in Spain, I'm not too sure, but I don't think there is
a huge demand in Uzbekistan for these.
The contact forms are all completed in different names and addresses,
and while I'm not certain, they at least look like valid addresses.
I've checked the access logs and they all seem to originate from
When I follow the link, true enough it displays my clients contact

I'd suggest that you use .htaccess (or if possible the actual
htconfig file) to block users who present freedisk.ru as the referrer.
Granted, not all user agents support or enable referrer sending, but I

Use something like:
RewriteCond % (freedisk\.ru) [NC]
RewriteRule .* - [F]
 Assuming your server is Apache.

I have a fool (or fools) plaguing one of my contact forms at present - but
I'm not getting any details. It's like a robot is clicking buttons - I
guess I should put a trap in it to reject if all fields are empty.
Whatever you do - do something.

Yes, if I lived in Uzbekistan I guess I'd be aiming to re-locate.
This is definately not a machine, the fields are mainly text fields
and are being completed in what looks like a sensible manner.
I've checked the freedisk.ru site and apparently the same person has
put links to four other sites on. Bicycling adventure holidays in the
US, greenhouses in the UK and Shropshire Tourist Board as well as
