Have any of you customized eAccelerator? This is the setting I'm
looking at right now:
eaccelerator.shm_size = 16
The 16 is set by default, but I've read where a lot of people have
increased it. Most of the tutorials are older, though (like, 2005), so
I'm not sure if the recommendations still apply to newer, faster
Some say not to exceed 32, while others set theirs to 128. That seems
like a pretty wide margin to me.
What information should I use to determine this setting? Is it based
on the CPU availability, RAM availability, or disk drive? Or something

If I'm not mistaken, I believe it's simply a shared memory allocation. If
you've got the resources, bump it up and give it shot.
A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths.
