Domain Registry of America

Hey folks,

Thought I'd let you know that it appears that these scum-bags are on the
prowl again. Got home to find a letter from them telling me that if I
didn't reply soon my domains would expire :\

I took the opportunity to write an obscene reply on their supplied
envelope, insert their letter and form (which took a short detour via my
shredder), sealed and (oops!) forgot to put a stamp on it before
dropping it in the postbox. Might take a few more days to get there, on
account of me accidentally forgetting the stamp, but knowing the chaps
at my local sorting office it might get put in the first-class bucket
after they see what I wrote ;)

Leaving the stamp off isn't going to acheive anything except waste the
time and effort of the Post Office. DROA, and other similar outfits,
use maildrop addresses that simply won't accept mail which needs to be
paid for. So it just ends up in the "undeliverable" bin at the PO.

You can really only pull that stunt with scammers who are dumb enough
to use a reply-paid envelope.

I'm saving the tin and wooden aol shippers to hippie-pretty up as CD
cases for custom-burned discs as presents.  If anyone wants to send me
some, be my guest :)
