I haven't posted to this group in awhile, I posted earlier this morning
but it didn't show up, so will try from a different address. I would
like to get some feedback for my website.
I have a few things I'd like to mention, I am considering trying a
different bbs, one that would integrate with the rest of the site just
like the blog was able to, and that's fairly simple. I also would like
to know what ftp program is generally used or recommended.
Would appreciate any thoughts, the domain is ddwriting.com

Re: critique request
Yes it did; you have two answers.
Your email address has nothing to do with whether or not a post shows up
in Usenet. Propagation is the issue. Google Groups is nothing more than
a bad interface to Usenet.
For FTP, FileZilla is quite nice, and free.
Please write the URL so it is clickable in our newsreaders:
1. Learn what CSS is.
2. Don't abuse tables for layout.
3. Use a flexible, liquid layout; your pages are stuck in the middle of
my browser window.
4. Don't use hard-coded microfonts - very hard to read. Use CSS to set
font sizes to 100%.
5. Use a DOCTYPE. I'd recommend HTML 4.01 Strict. See:
This will keep browsers out of Quirks Mode.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"
