cPanel and mySQL tip of the day:

If your cPanel username has a period (the . character) in it, and you create
a mySQL database, the database will be named without the . and you will not
be able to access it.

If you change your cPanel username to your current username minus the
period, the databases should appear.

You can add a theoretically infinite number of databases if the username
contains a period.

This is why we love cPanel.
