I have a question about URL encoding. I am trying to understand the
following URL and what the purpose of an asterisks in it is for. Seams
to be two links put together but resolve to a entirly different URL
Re: asterisks in URL
It's probably just an invention of the programmer to split the request
serverside to determin what the page to be delivered should be. No magic
in the asterisk, it micht as well be
http://example.com/path/-boogieboogie-http://example.com . Just as sort of
masked GET variable.
