Have any of you guys tried putting Skype onto your website?
I am of course assuming that this *is* technically possible, but
someone in the office suggested that we put a real-time chat facility
onto our website, and I was wondering... if dedicate one of our
customer support staff for this purpose and whether we could use Skype
to do the interface.
It would be good to have the chat status of our member of staff
immediately visible (e.g. busy, do not disturb, hidden, away etc) in
real time on our website.
It would also be good to for the customer to move from instant
messaging to voice if required.
- Anyone tried this?
- Any thoughts?
