So this is my first experience being down w/ ipower, and I am reading
some pretty unnerving experiences with them from other users.  I have
only had my domain for a couple of months now, and there is no
content, but I am using the email heavily...and this is unacceptable
if it is a rather common occurence.  I am not making any money off of
the domain, and the email is, as of yet, not mission critical...but it
will be someday.  As such, I am not interested in spending enterprise
money for hosting.  Who are the best, most reliable players in the
small biz/personal hosting space?  Normally this wouldn't bother me
that much, but their actual site was down, too...that is scary.  If
you can't manage your own site, how the hell are you going to manage

Anyway, I hate to use the word cheap, so I'll just ask for the most
affordable player in the aforementioned space.

What does "cheap" or "affordable" mean?

downtime in the 5 years I have been with them.
The exception was when a major truck line was cut by a careless
construction worker; service was quickly restored in less than 2 hours
albeit somewhat slower because of re-routing.
