Can anyone recommend good software which I can use to keep trace of
I live in Thailand and have several clients who want to increase their
business by using the net. One is a small family hotel-cum-guest house
which wants to start an affillite program so they get more customers and
the refers get X% of the booking. The other is a small teak furniture
workshop who would like to increase their international wholesale
business - they have only a bare website with details of their work and
send email for prices and to order: They have not had one order online.
I can provide a Thai server with ecommerce credit card processing
etc.But to get the traffic, they need to affilliate.
I have a free information website which forwards visitors to hotels and
other commercial outlets/services (tour operators etc) - Please note
that none of these local companies (read family co-ops operating from
home-shops), have affiliate programs: Some don't have websites (they are
happy for me to have host pages for them). I can put lots of work thier
way but I won't if I cannot verify the traffic/sales I put thier way: I
have no way on monitoring that trade/traffic.
I need solution.
I have been thinking I need two sets of software. One for the client
websites for them to track their orders (this needs to be free or
cheap). Secondly, I need to have software on my site. I could use a
modified phpAdsNew solution. The alternative is to host some kind of
online shopping cart combined with affilliate tracking - does anythiong
like that expist.
Can anyone here with experience of similar situations make some
constuctive comments or software solutions.
TIA for any help and advice.
Re: Affilate Tracking software - Information needed please
I sense from your post that the solution your customer's businesses
are looking for are increased customers?
My experience of affiliate schemes is that they scam publishers. As
such I never recommend them, however, your customers could try using
mainstream advertising agencies such as:
Each of which has varying benefits, and accordingly costs.
