Trying to understand something here. All the video I've seen or posted
before has been .wmv, .fla, or even .mov files. Recently I've seen
several .dat files, which play in Win Media Player as .wmv files (using

I can't quite understand how it works. Even looking at the code -

Just shows me what I already know. Downloading the .dat file locally I
can't make it play in WinMedia Player, but I still don't understand how
one does this.
Someone please explain what I don't understand?
