I'm looking for a couple of different web apps to integrate into
DotNetnuke site. Google has revealed a few options, but I thought maybe
someone in here could recommend from experience.
1. An upload app (or service) that can handle large files (300MB or so)
and trigger download links for the file to appropriate addresses. I know
that XDrive, for example can do this, but I need a form that can be
integrated into a web site. I found another service that's geared toward
the printing industry, but it was spendy.
2. A client-side "design" app that will let the web site user design a
sign or banner (font, colors, layout; like a rudimentary Illustrator)
and then submit it to the site as a png or eps or some similar format. I
checked some flash sites but came up dry. Any ideas?
Re: 2 web apps needed
Uploading files through HTTP POST doesn't support resuming, so is not very
appropriate for large files, unless perhaps on a local network.
You're probably better off using SFTP or something.
