DESCRIPTION data is generally interpreted by search engines. Different
engines have different practices and one engine may change practice over
time. The only way to find out what a given engine will do today is to
The HTML spec shows an example of multiple "keyword" METAs, one for each
of several languages. I infer that multiple META DESCRIPTION tags would
not violate any basic principle.
Perhaps if we knew what you were trying to accomplish, someone could
give you a more useful answer.
