I also use this.

I use Firefox with a few of the plugins.

I use w3c validators.

Same with me. I used to use Homesite, but it was too unstable on XP. I
upload with ws_ftp le.

Apart from simple text editor like Notepad, or more advanced one
providing syntax highlighting and auto-completion features like one
I've got with the Eclipse IDE Web Tools, I sometimes use Amaya
<http://www.w3.org/Amaya/>.
