my system has over 1,489,469 unique files, but after running an index to
completion against all HDD's and filetypes, it only 'sees' about 150,000 of
them.
Is this a limit of WDS?
What are the plans for better support of 'seeing' files tag contents?
- ala Phlat (MS Research's) on steriods?
- I'd think searching 100,000 tagged jpg's and/or similar music file count
(.flac ideally....) is just what MDS should extend PRIOR to emphasizing Win
Live Search 3.0 (www-type) features --- after all, it's MORE important to
know if your photo has the 'right' tag you seek than one off of say Flickr.
Lastly, it's a bummer to see so few ifilter's given the # of 'registered'
extensions - defining a catagory as X without allowing the user to add say
.flac to 'Music' goes against the user interface paradigm set by XP's own
UI... Anyone else agree and know of a solution?
