hello,

i have an mpeg which looks vertically compressed in firefox (not in
ie). in both of them, i set the same height, but it seems to be
understood only by ie. in ff, instead there remains a black bar -
regardless what height i set in the embed tag. (how) can i fix that?
the url is

http://wwwneu.bbold.de/unit1/text/toc_multimedia_computer_lab.html

btw, can anyone provide good links how to crossbrowserly present vids
in html pages, e.g. struggling with those different tags, or a java
applet player, or any tricks; and perhaps tutorials on javascript
opportunities to control the vid playing (pause, detect when finished
and such stuff)?

thanx a lot for anything,
daniel
