Hi,
I've bought two pocket pc and I'm trying to synchronize a directory on
them with the same directory on a pc with windows XP. I need to use them
simultaneously. Both of them make changes on their files and then I have
to modify the content on the directory's pc with these changes. The
problem is that I cannot use both devices simultaneously as the pc
recognizes only the first item connected via USB and each one per time.
How can I connect and use both devices simultaneously? I've tried to use
Microsoft Active Sync without success.
Thanks Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,

Unfortunately, you will not be able to connect two PPC's simultaneously.
You will need to disconnect one of them to connect the other.

If I recall correctly though, you can edit the registry on the desktop so
that both sync with the same directory. Just find the key that defines the
MyPPC My Documents folder in the registry, and have them both point to the
same folder. This worked pre-WM5, but I don't know about now. Still can't
do both at the same time though.

Hi,
Yes you can change the folder so the devices sync with the same folder for
pre-WM5 devices. However with WM5 this no longer works.
