got already two pcmcia-cards running fine on it:
a 56k-modem and a 10mb-combo-network-card
(am using win98se: system-manager (subsection properties) indicates
pcmcia: 32-bit)...

+ + +
here my question:
is there ANY usb-card running on it?? a hint which one to go for would
be fine!!!

-have tried several modern ones (usb2.0): they were NOT recognized in
the device-manager... :-((

(well i know my toshiba-bios is an old one with no support for cardbus
originally -so it needs a specific work-around-driver...)

Non-support for Cardbus is a hardware issue, not a driver issue. All
usb 2.0 cards need cardbus. There are some usb 1.1 cards that don't
need cardbus. Try searching for "CF USB" and use a cf to pcmcia
adapter. You then may still have a driver situation to deal with.
