 My computer came preloaded with xp media center - but I use my pc mainly for
business.

1. Is there anyway to upgrade my OS from xp media center to xp professional?

2. Also, does anyone know of any customer contact software that supports xp
media center? Most software only supports xp home and xp professional.

 Media Center is essentially just an application that's
installed on top of the XP Pro operating system.

Other than two specific networking features that are
disabled (domain joining after installation, and
cached credentials), MCE 2005 _IS_ XP Pro.

Any software that is compatible with XP Home and Pro
will also be compatible with Media Center.
