hi all,

I bought my mediacenter (hp) in early July and I have posted here a few
times to say that the system is not allowing me to write DVDs or sync with
pocketpc as it keeps saying recorded Tv is "unsupported file type" in Roxio
MyTv to go it suggests the tv is recorded in HD which I doubt.

Surely there is a fix for this ?

David

Hi David,

I have the same problem with a completely different machine; also posted
here but haven't found any answers. A few people are posting about this
problem on other boards also, but the problem does not seem to be widespread,
and no-one seems to be able to find a solution. Except that there was a
suggestion that if the country shown in control panel (2 spots) did not match
that in MCE the problem may occur - a PAL/NTSC mismatch I think, anyway that
was not my problem. Good luck fixing it, and please post here if you do find
a solution.

Also for what it is worth it appears that the problem developed sometime in
the last few months.
