Some firewalls will block traffic even when disabled. Have you configured
your firewall following the steps on the below page?
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/extender/setup/firewall/norton.mspx.
If you still encounter this message after making these changes, please post
the contents of your DvcConn.log file.
Regarding your router's firewall - because the PC and Xbox 360 are both on
the LAN side of your router, there's no need to make changes to the firewall
settings on your router (the firewall restricts traffic crossing between the
WAN/ADSL side and your home network).
