I have had my 700w for over a year. No problems until today. My POP3
account emails appear in Outlook. When I send/recieve on the phone it shows
the emails being recieved (1 of X...) and indicated "finished" when
complete. But the emails do not appear in the inbox or in any other folder.
The emails also dissapear from my webmail inbox (which is a real problem
because they are then lost forever if they had not yet been downloaded into
Outlook. HELP....

Typically when the number of emails being downloaded in the status bar does
not equal the number of emails you actualy see on the device, it is because
the emails are older than your device is set to display. For instance, if
in options you have set "Download Email From the Last 3 Days" and you
haven't logged in for 4 days, you device will download 4 days worth of email
and then immediatly 'age off' the oldest day. If you think this may be
what's happening to you then try setting your 'download window' to be
larger, 2 weeks instead of 3 days for instance.

However, if email is disappearing from your inbox then something strange may
be up. I would first ask though, are you sure email really disappear? It's
fairly tricky to know for sure. This may have happened: your device is set
to show the most recent 3 days of mail, you haven't checked mail on it in 5
days, and you haven't recieved any mail in the last 3 days. You check mail
on your device an it claims it's downloading 18 mail items. You see nothing
when it is done. You goto your webmail and see nothing. What happened to
you new mail from the last 3 days? It's possible there never was new mail.
It's possible it your device had never seen the 18 mails from days 4 and 5
but it needed to download them to see when they were from.

If on the other hand you know someone sent you mail, and you didn't get it
on your device, and it's not in your pop account. Then this is very
strange. I've never heard of it happening before but that doesn't mean for
certain such a thing couldn't happen.

Post back here if you think the first scenario is what is happening to you
or if mail is indeed disappearing.
