Is it possible to send attachments (pictures, video, files) using pocket
outlook and exchange 2003 activesync? I can't seem to send any attachments
on my treo 700 smartphone using pocket outlook. it uses windows mobile5. Is
anyone else haveing this problem? Has anyone found a solution? the only
known solution that I know of is sending attachment using MMS, which is quite
worthless in a business environment because users can't really trace who sent
the email. once sent using MMS is uses the persons "5555555555@vtext.com"
account instead of contact email used in outlook. That is bad usability
programming on the application developer's part, Please can an MVP tell me
that this problem has been resovle because if not I will start writing an
add-in in pocket outlook allowing this use. People shoouldn't have to
sacrifice usability to be able to do work anywhere. Please let me know if
this is a known issue and if it is has it been resolved. Iwant to figure it
out but I don't want to reinvent the whell all over again either.

Thanks,
Up and Coming Windows Mobile Developer

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked palm's site and they do have a program that supports email
attachments w/ exchange activesync. Its called versamail. There is a
problem with this and it is a very big problem, this is a third party
software that is unassociated with microsoft. Ok, now I am back to the whole
usability thing again. It makes no since to have a pocket outlook that has
the same look and feel as MS outlook but not the same basic features. Come
on people lets not get stupid here.

This may not help much but I can send image attachments via exchange
activesync w/ my Treo. I think you must have something configured wrong.
What exactly happens when you try to send attachments? Any error message?

BTW: I've also sent attachments (pictures and the like) via IMAP accounts.
