I have the following situation:
1.        Equipment & Software:
- Laptop HPcompaq-nx9110, winXP-Professional + FujitsuSiemens LOOX720
–Microsoft Pocket Pc – connected via cradle and ActiveSync 3.7.1
2.        If I try to copy file (maps - *.fbl) not larger than 43MB – it is OK.
3.        If I try to copy file (maps - *.fbl) larger than 80MB (I need 200MB) –
system’s answer is something like “file is in using by an other
application”
and of course NO coping.

Please can someone to help me with this problem!

Copying large files via activsync is a known problem... the best
solution is to use a pc card reader and copy files directly to the
memory card.

Thank you for your answer!.

In fact, I tried to copy files directly to the pocket PC-memory card via pc
card reader (of my HP laptop), but …, of course !!, I have an other problem:
-        when SD memory card is in PocketPC it recognized ( I can read and write if
I am in Microsoft Pocket PC - OS), but if I pull out SD card and try to read
(pc card reader), WinXP declare that SD card need FORMAT (0 bytes available,
0 bytes capacity). Therefore, my first conclusion was that the two OS
(Microsoft Pocket PC & WinXP) are not compatible from this point of view.
Really, I don’t know how to manage this !, and I will appreciate if someone
could give me some more details about this.
-         Here I should mention: with exactly same type of SD card (1GB) but, from
a digital camera I can do anything I want (copy, erase,….) – my conclusion
is
that pc card reader (from HP Compaq nx9110) it is working proper. [Please
take in consideration: I am just and end-user (with two left hands and “0”
IT
skills)].

If there is nothing you need on the card, put the card in the pc card
reader and allow it to format it... it should then be accessable on both
the ppc and pc.

If you need files off of the card, try copying them on the ppc to main
memory a chunk at a time and sync them back to the pc.
