I also have this problem. I've installed it with windows defender running
and with no AV running. Ive done this with MSN toolbar and with the Windows
Live toolbar. It appears to install correctly, but I cannot get the
checkmark to appear in the view>toolbars>MSN. I can click on it, but the
checkmark refuses to appear.

Just as a point of reference, the A9 toolbar worked normally.

Are you doing that in Explorer OR in IE? Windows Live Toolbar cannot be
enabled in Explorer.

Trying to enable it in IE. The checkmark just will not appear. The Add-Ons
manager does show it installed and enabled.
