If I remember correctly MapInfo tables only allow 256 different styles in a
single table, which may be a problem in such scenario, unless you split your
table in several parts.
Otherwise you need to write a small mapbasic application to update the
table's style for you. Very easy but you can't do it without mapbasic.
In general MapInfo-L is a better place to ask mapinfo related questions:
