Hi all,

If I use windows 2003 SP 1 server to telnet to a client site it will not
connect. If I use a box with windows 2000 there is no porblems.
Any idea???

telnet in W2k3 and W2k works equally (there are only minor difference).
Your problem lies somewhere else (firewall setup, etc.).

Please don't post a reply unless you know for fact....
there is a diference between win 2k and Win 2003 telnet.exe, plus machine
was move in front of the firewall and did not help...

I suggest capturing traffic (using Netmon or Wireshark) to analyse the
difference.
