i have a corporate customer that would like to use one version of activesync
to sync wm2003 se and wm5 devices with mnotes. is this possible? everything
that i have read says that wm2003 devices should stick with a/s 3.8 or
earlier. they only sync calendar, contacts, notes, emails.

Hi,
Only ActiveSync 4.x supports both WM2003Se and WM5 devices at the same time.

So you must upgrade to support Windows Mobile 5.0 devices. With ActiveSync
4.x and Windows Mobile 5.0 there are limitations that are new. See
