I have been unable to install programs lately because during the install,
the device just disconnects and loses the connection. This is also the
issue when trying to transfer files. I have tried several things such as
restarting the phone and PC, and as well as disconnecting and reconnecting
the device. I'm clueless as to what is going on here.

My information is as follows
Cingular 8125
ActiveSync 4.1
Windows XP SP2
