I currently have an iPaq h5450. I have just acquired an hw6900-series iPaq.

I'm ok with having to load all the programs I am currently using on the 5450
to the 6900. What will be the easiest method to move the data files to the
6900? IR? SD card?
Also, what is the most painless method to move all the Appointments, Tasks,
Contacts, etc to the 6900?

Once everything is moved I would like to give the 5450 to my daughter but I
would like to keep my old Sync info in case I need to go back. (establish new
Sync for 5450, establish Sync with 6900, keep old Sync with 5450) Can this be
done? How do I? Is there some other way to keep the old backup data on the
"back shelf" & use the old Sync?
Any suggestions for solving what I would like to do?

Thanks for any help.

ActiveSync will copy whatever contacts, appointments, etc. from your PC to
your device, regardless of whether it's the new device or the old device.
If you regularly sync the old device, just plug in the new one and let AS
establish a partnership. It will then sync whichever of the items you
indicate you want synced to the new device, too.

The PC can be partnered with at least two devices, so there should be no
problem leaving the old partnership there.
