Please log in for more thread options MCE will not recognize a STB as being used unless you have a MCE IR remote
AND its IR "blaster" connected to its receiver since with this setup MCE
will change the channels on your STB for you if you are using channel 3 or
S-Video from the STB since you place the IR "blaster" in front of the IR
sensor on the STB.
You can possibly tell MCE that you have an antenna and then use channel 3
from the STB and control the STB yourself although you will find that
